    Hardware Overview Router Front Remove the electrostatic sticker from the front of the AmpliFi Router. The front of the AmpliFi Router features a full-color touchscreen display. The bottom of the AmpliFi Router features an LED with a brightness setting configurable in the AmpliFi app.

    Installing the Router iPhone® Users: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled. Android Users: Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled. ™ Launch the AmpliFi app.
  • Page 9 Power off your broadband modem.
  • Page 10 Connect one end of the Ethernet Cable to your broadband modem and the other end to the Internet port on the AmpliFi Router.
  • Page 11 Connect the Power Adapter to the power port on the AmpliFi Router.
  • Page 12 Connect the Power Adapter to a power outlet.
  • Page 13 Power on your broadband modem.
  • Page 14 Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your AmpliFi Router.
  • Page 15 Installing the Mesh Points Find a suitable location for each Mesh Point with an accessible power outlet. The Mesh Points should be placed in different directions between the Router and the areas farthest from the Router.
  • Page 16 Plug the Mesh Point into a power outlet. If a Mesh Point is powered on and does not appear online in the app, the signal is too weak and the Mesh Point should be relocated closer to the Router.
