Ensamblaje y ajustes

¡Advertencia! Para reducir el riesgo de lesiones, no
conecte nunca el enchufe al tomacorriente de la fuente de
alimentación hasta que se hayan completado todos los
pasos de ensamblaje.
Herramientas necesarias para el ensamblaje
• Llave de tuerca ajustable
• Destornillador Phillips®
• Martillo y bloque de madera
Ensamblaje de la base en la columna (fig. 3)
1. Ponga la base (1) en el piso.
2. Coloque el tubo de la columna (2) sobre la base (1) y alinee
los agujeros del soporte de la columna con los agujeros de la
base.
3. Instale un perno (3) en cada agujero del soporte de la
columna y apriete cada perno con la llave.
Ensamblaje de la mesa en la columna
(fig. 4 – 7)
1. Afloje el tornillo de ajuste (2) ubicado en el anillo de la
columna (1) y retire el anillo.
2. Retire la cremallera (3) de la columna (4).
3. Inserte el eje de tornillo sin fin (5) en el agujero del mango
de manivela del soporte de la mesa (6) desde el interior del
soporte de la mesa. El eje de tornillo sin fin (5) debe sobresa-
lir de la carcasa aproximadamente 25,4 mm (1").
4. Inserte la cremallera (3) en la ranura engranada del soporte
de la mesa (6). Asegúrese de que el eje de tornillo sin fin (5)
ubicado en el interior del soporte de la mesa esté acoplado
con los dientes de la cremallera. El soporte de la mesa debe
estar asentado en el centro de la cremallera.
5. Deslice ensamblaje del soporte de la mesa y de la cremallera
(3, 5, 6) hacia abajo, todo junto, por la columna. Inserte el
borde inferior de la cremallera en el reborde (7) del soporte
de la columna. Manténgalo en esta posición hasta que se
haya completado el paso 6.
6. Coloque el lado de bisel del collarín (1) orientado hacia abajo
sobre la cremallera. Apriete el tornillo de ajuste (2) con la llave
Allen de 3 mm para sujetar la cremallera en su sitio.
¡Advertencia! Asegúrese de que haya suficiente holgura para
permitir que la mesa gire alrededor de la columna. El collarín
debe estar asentado flojamente sobre la cremallera y no debe
estar angulado en la columna. Para evitar daños a la columna o al
collarín, apriete el tornillo de ajuste solamente lo suficiente como
para mantenerlo en su sitio (Figura 6).
7. Inserte el mango de manivela del soporte de la mesa (9) en
el eje de engranaje de tornillo sin fin ubicado en el lado del
soporte de la mesa (8). Asegúrese de que el tornillo de ajuste
(10) esté alineado sobre la superficie plana del eje y lo más
cerca posible del soporte de la mesa. Apriete el tornillo de
ajuste (Figura 7).
8. Posicione la mesa en el mismo sentido que la base y apriete
el mango de fijación de la columna (11).

Assembly and adjustments

Warning! To reduce the risk of injury, never connect plug
to power source outlet until all assembly steps are
completed.
Tools needed for assembly
• Adjustable wrench
• Phillips® screwdriver
• Hammer and block of wood
Base to column (fig. 3)
1. Set the base (1) on the floor.
2. Place the column tube (2) on the base (1), align the column
support holes with the base holes.
3. Install a bolt (3) in each column support hole and tighten with
the wrench.
Table to column (fig. 4 – 7)
1. Loosen set screw (2) in column ring (1) and remove the ring.
2. Remove the rack (3) from the column (4).
3. Insert worm shaft (5) into the hole of the table support crank
handle (6) from inside the table support. The worm shaft (5)
should extend outside the housing about 25,4 mm (1").
4. Insert the rack (3) into the geared groove of the table support
(6). Make sure the worm shaft (5) on the inside of the table
support is engaged with the teeth of the rack. The table sup-
port should sit at the center of the rack.
5. Slide the table support and rack assembly (3, 5, 6) down
together onto the column. Insert the bottom edge of the rack
into the lip (7) of the column support. hold in this position
until step 6 is completed.
6. Place the collar (1) bevel side down over the rack. Tighten the
set screw (2) with the 3 mm Allen wrench to hold the rack in
position.
Warning! Make sure there is enough clearance to allow the table
to rotate around the column. The collar must sit loosely over rack
and not angled on the column. To avoid column or collar damage,
only tighten the set screw enough to keep collar in place
(Figure 6).
7. Insert the table support crank handle (9) into the worm gear
shaft on the side of the table support (8). Make sure the set
screw (10) is aligned on the flat of the
shaft and as close to the table support as possible. Tighten the set
screw (Figure 7).
8. Position the table in the same direction as the base, and
tighten the column lock handle (11).
