Selects the frame rate to be used when
recording in HD quality.
[1m! 24F PROGR.]: 24 frames per
second, progressive. Using this frame
rate will give your recordings a cinematic
look. When combined with the [0 CINE
MODE] recording program (OJ
55),
the
cinematic look will be enhanced.
This frame rate is different from the 24F
mode featured in Canon HDV
camcorders.
Mode switch: P
[lim ON ((Ill)], [m OFF]
The image stabilizer compensates for
camcorder shake even at full telephoto.
• The image stabilizer is designed to
compensate for a normal degree of
camcorder shake.
• The image stabilizer cannot be turned
off when the mode switch is set to
AUTO.
• We recommend setting the image
stabilizer to [m OFF] when using a
tripod.
