10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Port The ED3541 Hardened Ethernet Extender has one 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 port (see Figure 2-1). This port is auto-sensing, auto-MDIX 10/100 Mbps port. When you insert a cable into an RJ-45 port, the Hardened Ethernet Extender: Determines whether the cable is a straight-through or crossover cable.
