CONFIGURING E MAIL S ETTINGS
Purpose:
The s ystem c an b e c onfigured t o s end a n E mail n otification t o a ll d esignated r eceivers i f a n a larm
event i s d etected, e .g., m otion d etection e vent, v ideo l oss, t amper-­‐proof, e tc.
Before y ou s tart:
Please c onfigure t he D NS S erver s ettings u nder B asic C onfiguration > N etwork > T CP/IP o r A dvanced
Configuration > N etwork > T CP/IP b efore u sing t he E mail f unction.
Steps:
1) Enter t he E mail S ettings i nterface:
Configuration > A dvanced C onfiguration > N etwork > E mail
2) Configure t he f ollowing s ettings:
! Sender: T he n ame o f t he e mail s ender.
Sender's A ddress: T he e mail a ddress o f t he s ender.

SMTP S erver: T he S MTP S erver I P a ddress o r h ost n ame ( e.g., s mtp.263xmail.com).
!
SMTP P ort: T he S MTP p ort. T he d efault T CP/IP p ort f or S MTP i s 2 5.
!
Enable S SL: C heck t he c heckbox t o e nable S SL i f i t i s r equired b y t he S MTP s erver.

Attached I mage: C heck t he c heckbox o f A ttached I mage i f y ou w ant t o s end e mails w ith
