The G 7782 CD Washer/Disinfector is
intended for cleaning and disinfection
of dental and general medical instru-
ments and accessories. It cleans and,
when using the disinfection cycles, si-
multaneously thermally disinfects at
(93 °C) instruments and accessories.
Areas of effectiveness are physical re-
moval or thermal inactivation of vegeta-
tive bacteria including mycobacteria,
fungi, fungal spores, and viruses.
These categories include the Mycobac-
terium tuberculosis and the
Enterococcus faecium.
The intended use is identical for pro-
cessing medical and dental instrumen-
tation. Miele, Inc. considers general
medical instruments to be only insignifi-
cantly different from detal instruments.
Materials used are identical (mostly
stainless steel); architectures are sim-
ple and very similar.
Important: Only the cycles labeled
'DISINFECTION' disinfect! Always use
these cycles when handling contami-
nated items. All other cycles are de-
signed to clean items without disinfect-
ing them!

Indications for use

IMPORTANT: Centers for Disease Con-
trol Publication PB85-923404, Guideline
for Handwashing and Hospital Environ-
mental Control, 1985, defines the pro-
cessing requirements for critical,
semi-critical and non-critical instru-
ments. Refer to these definitions to de-
termine when and under what condi-
tions the G 7782 CD Washer/Disinfector
can be used.
