been approved by Miele. Use of any
other products may cause personal
injury, invalidate the disinfection re-
sults or void the washer/disinfector
warranty.
Use of Alkaline detergent* or Neutral
pH detergent* in a liquid form is recom-
mended.

Adding detergent

WARNING - CHEMICAL BURN
HAZARD: Wear protective gloves
and goggles and use care when
handling liquid detergents. Read
and follow the instructions and
safety procedures on the packaging
and in the Material Safety Data
Sheet (MSDS).
1. Place the detergent container in the
dispensing unit next to the washer
chamber.
2. When the Detergent indicator on the
control panel lights up, either fill con-
tainer with more detergent or replace
the empty container with a full one.
3. Place the siphon tube from the deter-
gent dispensing pump firmly in the
opening of the detergent container (see
illustration). The siphon tube may be
cut so that the bottom of the tube lies
aout 1" above the bottom of the con-
tainer.
