• The temperature is outside the operating range, 5°C through 35°
C (41°F through 95°F).

Returning to Resume Mode

The computer returns to Resume Mode when one of the following
happens.
• Opening the display after closing the display to enter Suspend
Mode
Ensure Resume Mode
1. When you open the display to return to Resume Mode, one
beep sounds.
2. To return to Resume Mode immediately after Suspend Mode,
open the display about 5 seconds after ensuring that you once
entered Suspend Mode by two or one beep. Otherwise, the
application system may be hung up. In this case, you have to
turn off and turn on the computer to restart the application
program.
• Issuing the PS2 ON at HH:MM:SS command in Set features
program
• Ring Indicator is activated on the communication interface.
Notes:
1. When the computer is powered only by the rechargeable battery
and is in Suspend Mode, if you want to use the AC adapter,
connect it without removing the rechargeable battery.
2. If you set your power-on password, you must enter the power-on
password when the computer returns to Resume Mode. For more
information, see "Power-On Password" on page 49.
