7.1.8 Lens Mount
F-mount (full size) or C-mount.
When it is used by MEMRECAM GX-3, depending on representation resolution, vignetting may produce
some F mount lenses. (Example: Nikon DX Nikkor Lens)
Use the special C-mount adapter for the C-mount. However, if using a standard C-mount 2/3" lens, a
valid pixel setting of 384x288 or less is recommended. If this is exceeded, tunnel vision may occur.
7.1.9 Compatibility with the Previous Series
The MEMRECAM GX-3 uses shutter exposure start timing as the standard. The previous MEMRECAM
ci, fx series use shutter exposure end timing as the standard.
Therefore, the exposure time shifts when there is a multi camera completely synchronized system with
a combination of the previous camera series and the GX-3.
Since the GX-3 has a compatible mode for the previous series of cameras, it is necessary to set the
exposure time (EXP TIME) to K3 compat for mixed systems.
With only GX-3, or with multi camera synchronized systems with cameras from other companies using
exposure start timing as the standard, set the exposure time (EXP TIME) to GX native.
The MEMRECAM GX-3 uses shutter exposure start timing as the standard. The previous MEMRECAM
ci, fx series use shutter exposure end timing as the standard.
Note 1) With a combination of MEMRECAM fx-K4/K5 and GX-3, set the K4/K5 exposure time to
'standard' and either set the GX-3 exposure time to 'K4 compat' or set the K4/K5
exposure time to 'legacy' and the GX-3 exposure time to 'K3 compat'.
Note 2) With a multi camera synchronized system, if the fx series cameras other than the
MEMRECAM ci series and fx-K4/K5, have open shutters at less than 1000pps, the
exposure time will shift so make sure to use a shutter.
Note 3) You set Exposure Timing as K3 compat, and further, if trigger timing is set up to 0% by
CUSTOM, a trigger flame may not be recorded.
