Please check the following items before requesting service.
Symptom
Water leaks from the bypass selector.
Water leaks from the neck of the outlet
pipe.
Water leaks from the bottom of the base.
Water leaks from the hose connector
section.
The water fl ow from the outlet pipe has
decreased. (When the cartridge life
checker is more than half red.)
A bad taste or smell develops.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
Is the bypass selector fastened
securely?
Is the outlet pipe installed correctly?
• Is the casing fi rmly fastened?
• The seal (gasket) may be twisted or
not in the proper position.
Is the hose connector nut attached
securely?
Is the cartridge clogged and is it time for
replacement?
Is the cartridge fi ltration capacity
(activated carbon) been reduced?

Remedy
Fasten the bypass selector securely.
(See "INSTALLATION".)
Insert the outlet pipe again correctly.
• Turn the casing fi rmly until it stops.
• Set the seal (gasket) in the proper
position.
Attach it securely.
Replace the cartridge.
(See page 24 "REPLACEMENT")
