    STARTING THE ENGINE Operate the starter. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON position. RECOIL STARTER Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull FUEL VALVE LEVER briskly in the direction of the arrow as shown below. Return the starter grip gently.
