    STOPPING THE ENGINE Operate the starter. RECOIL STARTER To stop the engine in an em ergency, sim ply m ove the control lever to the OFF position. Under norm al conditions, use the Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull follow ing procedure.

    Oil Level Check Screw in the oil filler cap/dipstick securely. Check the engine oil level with the engine stopped and in a level OIL FILLER CAP/DIPSTICK position. Rem ove the oil filler cap/dipstick and w ipe it clean. Insert and rem ove the oil filler cap/dipstick w ithout screw ing it into the oil filler neck.
