3. SAFETY WARNINGS

• Leave at least 1 metre between the
appliance and all furniture, sofas etc.
which could be close to the appliance.
• Do not switch the appliance on when
resting on walls, furniture, etc.
• IMPORTANT This appliance must never
be used in the bathroom or in any other
place where it could get wet.
• The fan heater must only be used in
horizontal position (MOD.TRV-270) or
vertical position (MOD.TRV-250).
• Do not use it to dry clothing or obstruct
the air flow grill, to stop the appliance
from over-heating.
• The users should not replace the power
cable. This operation should only be
done by authorised personnel.
• Do not fit the appliance directly under a
plug socket.
• Do not cover the appliance during
operation to avoid reheating and
fire risks.
• Do not use the appliance in a room
which is smaller than 4 m
• This appliance is not designed for
use by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities, or those with lack of
experience or knowledge, unless they
are supervised or instructed on the use
of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children are not aware of the dangers
of electrical appliances. It is therefore

necessary to supervise them when they
are using the appliance!
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet
when the appliance is operating.
• Do not use this appliance with a
programmer, timer or any other
device that switches on the fan heater
automatically, as there is a risk of fire
if the heater is covered or incorrectly
positioned.
A safety device interrupts the operation
of the air handling unit in the event of
accidental overheating (e.g.: obstruction
of the air flow grill, motor not turning, or
turning slowly). In order to re-establish the
operation, unplug the appliance for a few
minutes, eliminate the cause of overheating
and plug it in again. If the appliance still
does not operate normally, please contact
an authorised Technical Assistance Centre.

4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

• Before plugging in the appliance for the
first time, make sure that the electrical
network voltage has the same value in V
(volts) as indicated on the characteristics
plate.
• Ensure the electrical socket is rated
for at least 13 Amps for MOD. TRV-
270 and at least 10 Amps for MOD.
TRV-250.

5. OPERATION AND USE

On:
Choose the programme that you wish to
use by turning the function selector (A) to
the chosen position:
Position
: Summer service
In this position the appliance will operate
as a cold air fan.
Position 1: Low power heating.
Position 2: High power heating.
