3- INSTALLATION

3.1. OUTDOOR UNIT
(1) Install de outdoor unit in a place where it will be free from
being dirty or getting by rain as much as possible.
(2) During heating operation, drain water flows from the
outdoor unit. Therefore, install the outdoor unit in a place
where the drain water flow will not be obstructed. (Heat pump
model only).
(3) Do not place animals and plants in the path of the warm
air.
(4) Take the air conditioner weight into account and select a
place where noise and vibration are less.
(5) Select a place so that the warm air and noise from the air
conditioner do not disturb neighbours.
(6) Provide the space so that the air flow is not blocked. Also
for efficient operation, leave open three or the four directions
front, rear and both sides.
(7) When the outdoor unit will be exposed to strong wind,
fasten it with bolts at the places indicated by the arrows.
(8) When installing the drain pipe, plug another hole () in the
bottom of the outdoor unit with drain cap so there is no water
leakage.

Installation Details
Type A height: Outdoor Unit above Indoor Unit.
Type B height: Outdoor Unit below Indoor Unit.
(1) Auxiliary siphons every 7 m.
NOTE:
In vertical layouts always place an oil trap (small siphon) at the
beginning of the vertical stretch. In the case of the heat pump
and with the outdoor unit below the indoor unit place siphons
every 7 m.
