5. Saltwater use ‑ Apply a thin coating of Anti‑Seize Compound
only on threads of the spark plugs.

SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION
1. Before installing the spark plugs, clean off any dirt on the spark
plug seats. Install plugs finger tight, and then tighten 1/4 turn
or torque to specifications.

2. Push the pencil coils into place over the spark plugs using a
twisting motion.
3. Secure the coils with retained bolts. Torque to specifications.

4. Reconnect the wiring harness connectors to the pencil coil
connections.

5. Reinstall the cowl lock, rear cowl, and rear cowl latch. Torque
to specifications.
