Troubleshooting

Faults that are not displayed at the programming unit

Boiler cold, burner does not start
Set the emissions test switch to
Pumps are not running
Check the operating voltage:
Main isolator, power supply cable, plug fÖ, ON/OFF switch, fuses F1 6.3 A
(slow) and F2 4 A (slow)
Fuse F1 or F2 faulty?
Yes
1.
Pull off all 230 V plugs.
2.
Replace fuse.
3.
To determine the faulty device,
reconnect all 230 V devices in
sequence, until the faulty device is
located.
Pumps are running
Is there voltage at plug sÖ across L1 and N?
Yes
The burner connection area or the burner itself may
be the cause of the fault:
Is terminal T1 of plug fA 'live' when connected?
Yes
Press the test key; the
burner must then start in
accordance with the se-
lected delay (e.g. oil pre-
heating). If the burner is
still not operating, repeat
the previous checking
steps. It may be that
faulty accessories are
preventing the burner
from starting.

Pump faulty.
Replace if required.
No
Check any burner equip-
ment (fuses, gas pres-
sure switch, etc.).
No
Check plug fA, the burn-
er connecting cable and
the high limit safety cut-
out as well as any other
limiters (low water indica-
tor, pressure switch,
etc.).
