· Never raise the bed/operate the dump mechanism while moving.
· Operate on level ground only.
· Always set the parking brake and shift the transmission to neutral before operating the dump.
· If equipped with hydraulic dump, only operate while sitting in the seat.
· Do not place hands behind the seat or underneath the bed when lowering or raising the cargo bed.
· Never work underneath a raised bed if not properly secured.
1. If equipped with manual dump, the bed prop should be locked in the fully raised position.
2. If equipped with hydraulic dump, the cylinder lock should be securely fastened around the fully
extended lift cylinder.
