Changing ink setting modes

NOTE
• To change the ink color combination, contact your local MUTOH dealer.
• Do not perform the following operations during ink filling.
• Do not turn OFF the printer.
• Do not unplug the power cable.
• Do not open the front cover.
• Do not raise the media loading lever.
This section explains how to change the number of ink colors.
The following ink setting modes can be used for this printer.
• Eight color ink mode
• Six color ink mode
• Different types of inks four color mode (4Color Single: setting ink cartridges of two different types,
each having different ink characteristic)
• Same types of inks four color mode (4Color Double)
Refer to the following table for the ink cartridge alignment.
• "-A" and "-B" in the following table indicate the difference of ink types according to their ink
characteristics.
