Problem
Drink preparation has
been cancelled.
Coffee dispensing is
repeatedly interrupted
and the message
appears in
bean container
the display.
Drink dispensing starts
even though a sensor
has not been touched.

Possible cause and remedy
If the water container becomes empty while a drink is
being prepared, the message
will appear in the display after the water container
has been refilled and put back in the machine. If you
do not confirm this message with
5 minutes, preparation will be cancelled.
This is not a fault.
The brew unit has not detected the ground coffee.
Fill the
The coffee may be too finely ground or there may not
be enough of it. Usually this is because the grinder is
set too fine and the amount set is insufficient.
 Confirm the message with OK.
If the coffee is too strong for you or it tastes bitter, try
a different type of bean.
If the display appears with all types of drink:
 Set the grinder to a coarser setting (see "Coffee
the way you like it - Grinder setting").
 Check the amounts of coffee set for all drinks (see
"Coffee the way you like it - Amount of coffee").
Select a higher amount of coffee if necessary.
Don't forget to check any drinks changed in
"Profiles" .
If the message only appears when dispensing certain
drinks:
 Check the amount of coffee set for these drinks
(see "Coffee the way you like it - Amount of
coffee"). Select a larger amount of coffee if
necessary.
 You may also need to set the grinder setting a bit
coarser.
Condensate may have built up on the control panel
and accidentally started the process.
 Wipe any condensate off with a soft cloth.
