- Page 4 Assemble Handle 1 Loosen knobs on both sides. 2 Remove plastic on auger control. 3 Lift handle upright, making sure cable doesn’t get pinched. 4 Line up tab on upper handle with hole in lower handle (both sides). 5 Tighten knobs securely. Snowthrower Safety Test WARNING: Failure to read and follow the operator’s manual and all operating instructions could result in death, serious injury, and/or property damage. 1 Start the snowthrower. 2 Engage the auger control for several seconds. 3 Release the auger control. 4 The auger must stop within 5 seconds after the auger control is released.
