District heating tank FSN and FSN-E The warming-up period and the maximum input power for district heating supplies can be taken from the following diagrams: Warming-up Period FSN and FSN-E* Flow temperature in °C Max. input power FSN and FSN-E* Flow temperature in °C...
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 2. Hot Water Hot water consumption in the household is dependent upon the number of people, the sanitary fittings in the flat or house, the insulation, the plumbing and the individual habits of the user.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 5. Operating All operating equipment required for the operation of the FSN and FSN-E district heating storage tanks (temperature adjustment knob) and monitoring elements (operating light and thermometer) is gathered together on an control panel at the front of the device.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 7. Summer- Winter Switch Once the service flap has been opened the switch is freely accessible. Here is where one can choose, whether the the storage tank should be powered by electricity (sum- mertime operation) or by the district heating grid (wintertime operation).
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 9. Adjustment Range Limitation FSN-E To avoid accidental scalding by water that is too hot, the adjustment range of the temperature regulator can be limited to a max. of 65 °C. The device must be electrically isolated from the grid at all poles.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 11. Installation and Safety Information a) Important Installation Information! Do not bend the safety component sus- pension hooks due to the possibility of breakage. A failure to take notice of this warning could result in personal injury due to a falling device!

District heating tank FSN and FSN-E via the funnel or outlet pipe. b) In the case where safety valves are installed before water heaters, a check should be made as to whether the safety valve reacts when the water heater is heated up. This can be verified by way of water egress out of the outlet pipe.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 18. Electrical Connection FSN-E 18.1 General Instructions a) As a matter of principle, the electrical connectivity is to be carried out as per the circuit diagram pasted in to the connection space of the storage tank.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 19. Initial Commissioning Before switching on the electrical power the storage tank must be filled with water. During the heating up process the expansion water generated in the inner boiler must drip out of the safety valve in the case of a pressure resistant connection and out of the mixer unit in the case of a non-pressure connection.
District heating tank FSN and FSN-E 21. Inspection, Servicing, Maintenance a) During heating-up the excess water must be seen to drip out of the safety valve out- let (in the case of non-pressure connections the excess water will drip out of the mixer unit valve).
