FUNCTION The domestic water stored in the enamelled internal boiler is heated up by the electrical heating element. The user can preselect the desired temperature on the operating panel. The heating is independently switched on during heating-up process by the control and switched off again after reaching the desired stored water temperature.
STANDBY ENERGY CONSUMPTION If a water heater is heated up and no water is released for a long time after the heating process, a cooling of the stored water via the surface of the device, albeit gradual but continuous, will be the result. The intensity and speed of his cooling off will vary according to the construction type of the device, the size of the device, thickness and quality of the container insulation.

Manual mode In this mode the hot water temperature is kept constant. The following table provides and overview of the approximate temperatures in the tank: Level Selection Temperature ~57°C ~62°C ~67°C ~72°C ~75°C A flashing shower symbol indicates that the water is being heated-up. Legionella protection circuit This circuit reduces the risk of bacterial growth in the tank.
Error codes If an error occurs, the maintenance and error indicator is visible in the display. The backlighting and the error code flashes. Explanation of codes 1. Dry operation There is no water in the tank 2. Unexpectedly long heating duration There are several possible causes: Defective heating element Defective relay...
Troubleshooting Symptoms Measures Error code 1 Attention! Only for specialists! OPERATING REQUIREMENTS The storage tanks must be used exclusively in accordance with the conditions set out on the rating panel. The maximum input pressure should correspond to the nominal pressure stated on the rating panel. In addition to the legally recognised national guidelines and standards, the connection conditions of the local electricity and water works as well as those set out in the operating and assembly instructions must be complied with.

f) If a water heater is fitted with covers (cladding) in narrow small spaces or in suspended ceilings and the like, it is crucial to ensure that the connection side of the device (water connections, electrical connec- tion room and/or boiler room) remains freely accessible and that there is no heat accumulation. There must be a free space of 500mm for the dismantling of the heating flange.

The following must be observed: In order to ensure the faultless functioning of the connection fittings these may only be installed in frost-pro- tected spaces. The outlet of the safety valve must be open and observable and/or the outlet pipe from the drip tray (water overflow funnel) must not terminate outside so that neither frost nor blockages due to dirt and the like can result in a malfunction.
In order to allow repairs to be carried out easily and to allow the device to be removed or replaced, it is necessary to establish the connection to the tank by means of a detachable connection (union). Storage tank leaks as a result of an improper connection and resulting damage and consequential damage are excluded from the warranty and product liability.
INITIAL COMMISSIONING Before switching on the electrical power the storage tank must be filled with water. During the heating up process the expansion water generated in the inner boiler must drip out of the safety valve in the case of a pressure resistant connection and out of the mixer unit in the case of a non-pressure connection.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, SERVICING a) During heating-up excess water must be seen to drip out of the safety valve outlet (in the case of non-pressure connections the excess water will drip out of the mixer unit valve). When fully heated up (approx.
