    Press read the user information that is provided with your Smartpay EFTPOS equipment. • Switch on your D200 mobile EFTPOS terminal by pressing the power button at the top and check that is has full battery power by looking at the battery icon in the top right corner of the display screen.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Power ON/OFF • Power on: Insert power adapter lead or the charged battery. Press and hold power button for 3 seconds until LCD screen backlight comes on.     Have your hotspot device and terminal fully charged and ready. Make sure the D200 is in the range of your Wi-Fi network. Switch ON your D200. If the network matches what is currently configured in your D200 it will automatically re-connect during startup.
  • Page 7 Wi-Fi SETUP Configured Network Not Available Purchase + Cash Out Wait while the terminal performs initial network search. Terminal will fail to connect if Wi-Fi network is unavailable. FAILED TO CONNECT *NETWORK NAME* Terminal will prompt user to manually enter Wi-Fi network details. Wi-Fi NETWORKING Select to manually enter details.

If required network name is not displayed check that Wi-Fi device is broadcasting BACK and press key to rescan.

    Wi-Fi SETUP Press on the terminal to view its IP address. 16:57 11 Jan 2015 This will need to be correctly entered into the POS to make the connection between them. EFTPOS READY ENTER AMOUNT If you are using T2G and Smartlink apps for iPad, the IP address should be entered into the settings in the Smartlink app.

    Your D200 EFTPOS Terminal supports three different methods for accepting payment “cards” - Magnetic Stripe, Chip & PIN and Contactless (NFC). The D200 has two readers (mag strip on top and chip at bottom) and one built-in antenna for NFC located near the top under the display screen.
  • Page 14 PURCHASE TRANSACTIONS Terminal screen will show transaction amount and prompt customer to present their card. If blue indicator is lit then contactless option is PURCHASE $10.00 ready and available. Customer presents card (for contactless) / inserts for chip / swipes (for magnetic strip). If contactless and amount is under threshold then transaction will process automatically.
  • Page 15 Cardholder signature must be checked against the card and merchant should select YES or NO to confirm on the D200 EFTPOS terminal to complete the transaction. It is not possible to capture or store a signature directly on the D200.

    CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS If you have Contactless (Tap and Go) payment enabled on your EFTPOS Terminal Contactless transactions are fast, convenient and can increase payment security, as the card never has to leave the cardholder’s possession to complete the transaction. However contactless payment is not supported for all transaction types and you cannot present the customer card before the transaction amount is entered into the terminal.

    ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS Reprinting Receipts Reprint You can view the last receipt details on the D200 screen by selecting the Menu. If you require a physical copy or e-receipt copy you will need to send a reprint receipt request directly from the integrated POS. To reprint a receipt from your POS you may need to refer to your POS user instructions.

    The terminal will only perform functions that are supported by the POS you are using. POS features and functionality are controlled by the POS company. To support integration with the D200, the POS should support a minimum of Purchase, Refund, Logon, Reprint Last Transaction and digital signature capture for signature verified receipts.
