Inspecting the equipment
About this task
If any equipment has been damaged during shipment, keep the shipping cartons
and packing materials and contact your place of purchase.
Note: Check the battery recharge date on the shipping carton label. If the date has
passed and the battery packs were never recharged, do not use the UPS. Contact
your service representative.
Unpacking the unit
About this task
Important: Unpacking the unit in a low-temperature environment might cause
condensation to occur in and on the unit. Do not install the unit until the inside
and outside of the unit are absolutely dry (hazard of electric shock).
Procedure
1. Unpack the equipment and remove all packing materials and the shipping

2. Discard or recycle the packaging in a responsible manner, or store it for future
