Cutting Rotor Drive Belt

• Adjust belt tension properly. Inproperly tensioned belt may reduce performance
and its service life.

Remove rotor belt cover.
Push in the middle of belt to check amount of
bending. If it is not correct, adjust.
Install rotor belt cover.
10.8kgf (23.8lbf).
Remove rotor upper shield and belt cover.
Loosen bracket mount bolts.
Loosen lock nut and adjust belt tension with
tensioning bolt.
Tighten lock nut.
Tighten brachet mount bolts.
Test-drive rotor for a few minutes to make
sure everything is tightly secured.
Install upper rotor shield and belt cover.
