NOTE
• Flail has cutting edge on both sides. When
one side wears out, flip flails to use the
other side.

Open cutting rotor shield and hold it in
position firmly.
Visually inspect for wear and damage of flails
or missing flails.
If flail, shackle or bolt is excessively worn,
deformed, damged, or missing, replace it
with new one.
Close cutting rotor shield.
Undo bolt to remove shackle and flails.
To remove flails on the extreme of either
side, line up bolt with hole on side panel.
Install new flails.
