(11) Press and hold the blue fuser
unit lever in the direction of the
arrow, and remove the orange
stopper release.
Note
•
Use the stopper release if the device is not used
for long periods of time, or is to be transported.
Make sure to store safely.

Remove the image drum cartridges.
Note
•
Do not operate the blue lever on the starter toner
cartridge at this time. Doing so may cause a toner spill.

With the starter toner cartridge
mounted, gently mount the
image drum cartridges (x4).
Note
•
The image drum (the green tube) is fragile;
handle it carefully.
•
Do not expose the image drum cartridges to
direct sunlight or strong light (more than about
1,500 lux). Do not expose them to room lighting
for more than five minutes.
(2) Place the image drum cartridges
on a newspaper.
