Appendix C: Peripheral Unit Drive Circuit

A drive circuit for driving peripheral units (such as cash drawers) is featured on
the main logic board of this printer. A modular connector for driving peripheral
unit is featured on the output side on the drive circuit. When using this circuit,
connect the cable for the peripheral unit. (Cables must be prepared by the user.)
Note: Peripheral unit drive circuit connector only connects to peripheral units
such as cash drawers, etc.
Do not connect it to a telephone.
Use cables which meet the following specifications.
Modular plug
Separated Ground wire
connected to shield
(Europe only).
