G3 ECM Setting for Sending
The ECM function ("Error Correction Mode") enables error-free transmission for
the G3 mode, as long as the other fax machine is also set up for ECM operation.
However, if the line quality is poor, image transmission can take an extended period
of time. In such a case, use the following procedure to turn off ECM.
1. Press FUNCTION.
2. Use
3. Press START/COPY, then press

5. Press START/COPY.
6. Press STOP to return to standby mode.
