TROUBLESHOOTING

The electric starter does
not turn
The engine turns over but will

Air fi lter dirty
Defective ignition system
Lack of fuel
Poor carburettor seal
Loose or oxidized connector or ignition
coil
Insuffi cient air fl ow
Silencer partly clogged
Carburation too lean
Brake pads worn
Air or humidity in the hydraulic circuit
Brake pads worn
Air or humidity in the hydraulic circuit

REMEDY
Move the key on
Check the battery
Replace

Move the fuel cock to ON or RES position

Clean and dry the spark plug, replace if
necessary
Restore the spark gap

Move the fuel cock to RES
Refuel
Make sure that the hose between carbure-
tor and engine is intact
