Users Manual
To turn on or turn off the LaserSharp Auto Focus System
and the laser pointer:
1. Go to Camera > Auto Focus.
2. Push
/
to select on or off.
3.  to set the change and go back to the live view.
When the laser pointer is turned on, the Laser Distance
Finder button is the control for the LaserSharp Auto Focus
System. Point the Imager in the general direction of the
object of interest. Push and hold the Laser Distance Finder
button to locate the laser dot on the specific area of
interest. Release the button. The auto focus system will
quickly and accurately focus on the object.

Backlight

The backlight level control is set to low, medium, and high.
To set the backlight:
1. Go to Camera > Backlight.
2. Push
/
to highlight high, medium, or low.
3. Push  to set a new value.

Video

The Imager can record infrared and IR-Fusion™ to the SD
card or internal memory in .is3 or .avi format.
To record:
1. Go to Camera > Video.
2. Push
/
to select Video/Audio or Video ONLY.
A Bluetooth headset is required and the radio must be
enabled for voice (audio) recording. This feature may
not be available in all regions.
3. Touch the Record Video target to enable the
recording mode.
The p icon shows on the display to identify the start
recording mode.
4. Push and release the Image Capture button to start
recording.
The r icon shows on the display while recording is
in process.
5. Push and release the Image Capture button to stop
recording.
