Acer Online Documentation

The Acer Online Documentation is part of the Acer Resource CD, providing easy access
to the manuals in electronic form.
following manuals in Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format:

McAfee VirusScan manual.
•
Intel LanDesk Client Manager manual.
•
AcerPower User Guide.
To access the Acer Online Documentation, first insert the Acer Resource CD. From the
Acer Resource CD screen, click the Acer Online Documentation hyper-link, then click on
the document item you choose.
Please note that the Adobe Acrobat reader must be installed before viewing these manuals.
4.5 Using Acer CPR to Rebuild Your Hard
Drive
In case of emergency such as a hard drive failure, you may find that the only way to
recover is to rebuild the hard drive to its original factory state. The Acer CPR utility gives
you a simple way to completely reinstall Windows 95 or NT workstation (based on the
system you have purchased) and application software that originally came pre-installed on
your hard drive. Your system hard drive will be restored back to its original state as it
was shipped from the Acer factory.
In such an emergency, use the Acer CPR utility to perform the restoration or complete
rebuild of your hard drive.
A complete rebuild will FDISK and FORMAT your
hard drive. Personal files which have not been
backed up will be lost when rebuilding your hard
drive. Acer shall not be liable for any loss of data or any
other incidental, special or consequential damages.
