After the deposit cleaning process it is necessary to repeat the brewing process
2-3 times in accordance with the instructions in part 5.3 "Preparation of coffee"
using only water.
Rinse the thermos thoroughly several times with warm water.
The unit is again ready to brew coffee.
Wash hands thoroughly after cleaning the unit of deposits.
WARNING!
Do not leave the unit unattended during the deposit cleaning process!
Use protective gloves and eyewear during the deposit cleaning process!
Cleaning the thermo pump jug
o Open the cover using the tabs at the top of the pump and remove the pump tube
from the thermo pump jug.
o The thermo pump jug, pump tube should be rinsed following each use.
o Wipe the outside of the thermo pump jug with a soft, moist cloth.
o Hard water can leave white mineral deposits on the inside of the thermo pump jug.
Coffee generally dyes these deposits and leaves brown stains. In order to remove
them, use a commonly available cleaning agent.
o Thoroughly rinse the thermo pump jug multiple times and leave open for it to dry.
o Never use harsh cleaning agents that might scratch the unit.
o Never place the thermo pump jug in a dishwasher.
o Never place the thermo pump jug in water.
o Never use abrasive cleaning agents.
o Use only a soft cloth. Never use any harsh cleaning agents or tools that might
scratch the stainless steel surface of the thermo pump jug.
o After cleaning, leave the thermo pump jug open for it to dry completely after which it
may be stored away for future use.

6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

o Check the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the
device when the cable is damaged. A damaged cable must immediately be replaced
by customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid dangers.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre. Pay attention to the troubleshooting tips in pt. 7.
