10. Servicing

10.1 General servicing

Servicing of the unit should be carried out once annually
by the WAGNER service.
1. Check high-pressure hoses, device connecting
line and plug for damage.
2. Check the inlet valve, outlet valve and filter for wear.

10.2 High-pressure hose

Inspect the high-pressure hose visually for any notches
or bulges, in particular at the transition in the fittings. It
must be possible to turn the union nuts freely.

11. Repairs at the unit

Switch the unit OFF.
Before all repair work: Unplug the
power plug from the outlet.

11.1 Relief valve

1. Use a drift punch of 2 mm to remove the grooved pin
(Fig. 12, Item 1) from the relief valve grip (2).
2. Pull of the relief valve grip (2) and drive ring (3).
3. Screw off the valve housing (4) completely using the
adjusting spanner.
4. Ensure that the seal (5) is seated correctly, then screw
the new valve housing (4) completely into the distribu-
tor block (6). Tighten using the adjusting wrench.
5. Align drive ring (3) with the alignment pin (7) in the
distributor block (6). Slide the drive ring on and lubri-
cate with machine grease.
6. Bring the hole in the valve shaft (8) and in the relief
valve grip (2) into alignment.
7. Insert the grooved pin (1) and set the relief valve grip
to the position PRIME/SPRAY.

11.2 Inlet and outlet valve

1. Remove the four screws in the front cover and then
the front cover.
2. Switch the unit ON and OFF so that the spiral ring
(Fig. 13, Item 1) on the connecting rod is visible below
the guide (2).

the fingers or tool between the moving
parts.
