Removing the Access Panel

1. Power down the server. Refer to the "Power ing Down the Server" section earlier in this
chapter.
2. Extend the server from the rack. Refer to the "Extending the Server from the Rack"
section earlier in this chapter.
3. Remove the access panel.

Reverse the steps to install the access panel.

WARNING: Pressing the Power button does not remove power from all areas of the
server. Portions of the power supply and some internal circuitry remain active until the
AC power cord is removed.
