Install the Cooling Transfer Hose
from the Blade Guard.

Install the Pointer on the oppo-
site side, next to Blade Guard.
Belt Adjustment and Replacement
In order to ensure the CX-3E1 operates at peak efficiency, the power transmission belt should be in-
spected monthly and changed if any signs of damage and/or excessive wear is observed.
NOTE: 1. When a new belt is installed, it should be inspected and retensioned after the first
forty-eight (48) hours of operation.

Remove the Blade
(See Blade Removal section).

Install the Blade Shaft Cover.
(N)
Switch orange Pointer wheel to
align with blade.
(B)
Locate and remove the Belt
Guard Retaining Bolts and then
remove the Belt Guard.

Remove the Pointer.
(C)
Inspect the belt for excessive
wear, cracks and cuts – if worn,
proceed to Step E.
