Testing Mode
Forced defrost
With unit in normal mode, press and release activate controls to enable keypad. Press and hold the "HIGH
ER" key and then without releasing the HIGHER key, press the "DISPLAY OFF" key for three seconds. The
control will beep three times to alert user that function has been enabled.
Unit immediately suspends all coolingoperations, compressor turns off and evaporator fan, condensor
fan, and refrigerator crossover fan all shut off. Defrost heaters are enabled dependant upon satisfaction of
defrost terminator.
Forced Pull-Down (Forced Compressor Start)
With unit in normal mode, press and release activate controls to enable keypad. Press and hold the LOW
ER" key and then without releasing the LOWER key, press the "DISPLAY OFF" key for three seconds. The
control will beep three times to alert user that function has been enabled.
Unit immediately energizes compressor, condensor fan, refrigerator cross over fan and evaporator fans in
an effort to reach cut-out temperature in both sections of the unit. Compressor dwell time is ignored.
Showroom Mode
The Showroom Mode is entered by first pressing and holding the "ACTIVATE CONTROLS" key, and then
without releasing the ACTIVATE CONTROLS key, simultaneously pressing both the "HIGHER" and
"ALARM OFF" keys for three (3) seconds. The control shall beep three times and the SHOW indicator will
be displayed on the alpha-numeric display to alert the user that Showroom Mode has been entered.
TheShowroom Mode is used for the purpose of displaying models and allowing a user to interact with the
product on the sales floor without having the temperature control and defrost operations active.
Showroom Mode is exited by first pressing and holding the "ACTIVATE CONTROLS" key, and then with
out releasing the ACTIVATE CONTROLS key, simultaneously pressing both the "HIGHER" and "ALARM
OFF" keys for three (3) seconds. The control shall beep three times and the SHOW indicator will disappear
and the actual compartment temperatures will be shown in the displays
Sabbath Mode
The Sabbath Mode is entered by first pressing and holding the "ACTIVATE CONTROLS" key, and then
without releasing the ACTIVATE CONTROLS key, simultaneously pressing the "DISPLAY OFF" key
for three (3) seconds. The control shall beep three times and the SAB indicator will be displayed on the
alpha-numeric display to alert the user thatSabbath Mode has been entered.
The Sabbath Mode is used for the purpose ofcontrolling the refrigeration units without interior lights,
changes to the LED display, and enunciators.
The Sabbath Mode isexited by first pressing and holding the "ACTIVATE CONTROLS" key, and then with
out releasing the ACTIVATE CONTROLS key, simultaneously pressing the "DISPLAY OFF" key for three
(3) seconds. The SAB indicator will disappear and anyactive alarm conditions that were present prior to or
during Sabbath Mode will be indicated to the user audibly and visually.
