    1. Einleitung Der AU-D4 Analog zu Digital-Audio Konverter wurde entwickelt, um ein analoges Stereo-Audio Cinch Signal in ein koaxiales S/PDIF und in ein optisches (Toslink) Signal umzuwandeln und diese synchron auszugeben. Das dabei entstehende Signal ist ein unkomprimiertes 2-Kanal-LPCM Audiosignal mit einer Abtastrate von bis zu 48 KHz.
