ENGINE OIL ADDITIVES/ ENGINE OIL FLUSHES
Do not add anything to the oil. The use of engine oil additives could cause engine
damage not covered by the vehicle warranty. Engine oil system flushes are not
recommended and could cause engine damage not covered by the vehicle warranty.

have the work done by your
CHEVROLET retailer.
Otherwise, you could be injured or
your vehicle could be damaged.
Engine oil loses its ability to lubricate
when contaminated. Make sure you
change your engine oil according to the
maintenance schedule.
Make sure you replace the engine oil
filter each time you change the engine
oil.
Under severe conditions, you must
change the oil and filter more fre-
quently than is recommended in the
standard maintenance schedule.
