NSTALLING THE

EDIA ERVER
In order for Medi@ TV to function, the Server Program must be installed and working on the
connected PC. In response to user requests, the Server Program sends audio, video, photo, and
other files stored on your PC's hard drive to the Medi@ TV set-top box through the network.
1. Select [Install Server Program] from the initial installation screen and click on Next each time
you wish to continue.
2. The Packard Bell Media Server program files are copied to your hard disk drive.
Please do not interrupt.
3. When the 'installation complete' window appears, click on Finish.
After you click on Finish you will need to restart you system.

OPYING AMPLE
After installation of Medi@ TV, you may need media (audio, video, and photo) files for testing.
Insert your Medi@ TV Installation CD again and please copy the Sample Media files to the PC's
hard disk drive for testing. You can always delete the sample media later.
1. Select Copy Sample Media and click on Next each time you wish to continue.
2. The sample media files are copied to your hard disk drive. Please do not interrupt.
3. When the 'installation complete' window appears, clic on Finish.
