Medi@ TV Viewer is a program that comes with the Medi@ TV set-top box, which is used to
view multimedia data (music, video, photos, etc.) on your TV from a PC hard disk drive. It works
with your TV and it can be controlled with the remote control.
In order to view multimedia data with Medi@ TV Viewer on a TV, you need to add multimedia
data with Packard Bell Media Organizer. If you want to know how to use Media Organizer, refer
to 'Part 2. Media Organizer.'
The main functions of Medi@ TV Viewer are as follows.
• Listening to Music
- Supports MP3, WMA, and WAV formats
- Play/Stop/Pause/Skip to previous or next
- Plays all tracks in an album/Plays all albums/Repeats music/Repeats all tracks/Random Play
- Views Album Information/Lyrics
- Searches music by index/keyword
• Video View
- Plays all movie formats supported by Windows Media Player, such as MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI,
DiVX, and WMV
- Play/Stop/End/Jump backward and forward
- Bookmark function/Video Information
- Supports captions of SMI file format/Supports wide screen
- Searches video by index

Before starting the Viewer, first check if your PC and TV are on and, after logging in from your PC,
turn on the Medi@ TV set-top box with the remote control. When you turn on the set-top box,
the server program runs automatically. When you want to exit, simply turn off the set-top box.
