work connections, please refer to the electronic documentation included with Packard Bell Medi@ TV or
the documentation that was supplied by the manufacturer of your network hardware and/or software.

Caution: for use with power supply modes PL9645-ETP-UK-BP or PL9645-ETP-EU-BP.
Please find the 'Security-ID' number on the power adapter. You should note this down at the
back of this guide, because you will need it later.

  • Page 3 Caution: for use with power supply model GPSA-1200125. 3. Remote control Install the batteries first. Please use LR03 (AAA) batteries only. II. Installing software on the computer Insert the Medi@ TV installation CD into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Page 4 Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The next step, step , installs the Packard Bell Media Organiser. This is the software that helps you manage your multimedia library. During this step you are asked to insert a database option. We recommend you select Share database...

  • Page 6 From the Welcome screen, select the language of your choice. b. Select the type of network that you are going to use. If you have purchased the Packard Bell net2plug edition, then please select Wired. For other types of network, please refer to the electronic User’s Guide.

    • Restart Medi@ TV to activate the new network settings. Please click on OK to do so. On your computer: • Click on Start => Control Panel => Network. Right-click on the USB power packet LAN connection and select Properties.

    Please follow the instructions on the screen when asked to do so. After setting up Packard Bell Medi@ TV, you are ready to view and listen to your data through your TV set. Before starting the Viewer, please assure that your PC is not in Suspend mode! You may have to close some applications on your PC to free up memory.
