NSTALLING THE
Insert the Medi@ TV Installation CD into your PC's CD-ROM drive. The installation program
starts automatically and the screen shown below appears.
Follow the instuctions on the screen to install the Medi@ TV software.
Install Packard Bell Media Organiser, your multimedia library
Install Media Organizer
manager.
Install Server Program
Install Packard Bell MediaServer, your network manager.
Copy sample media
Sample media for testing purposes.
Install Acrobat Reader in order to view the online User's
Install Acrobat Reader
Guide.
You can explore the Installation CD with Windows
Explore this CD
Explorer.
Quit
Exit the installation Wizard.
If the CD is run on a PC that already has Medi@ TV software installed, the selections for
the previously installed software will change into uninstall. This allows you to uninstall any
of the programs installed previously.
Caution: If you are using a firewall, you must change your network options before setting
up Medi@ TV. Please read '4. FAQ 2.1.4. Setting up when using a firewall'.

NSTALLING
1. Select Install Media Organizer from the initial installation screen and click on Next each
time you wish to continue.
2. Select a sharing method and click on Next.
[Share database for all users] allows all users who can log on to Windows to access all data in the
database. [Use separate database for each user] allows each user only to access his/her own data.

3. When the 'installation complete' window appears, click on Finish.
