TO USE YOUR UNIT PROPERLY AND SAFELY
When disconnecting
the mains plug, do not pull the
mains lead but take hold of the plug itself. Disconnecting
the mains plug with wet hands is extremely dangerous
and you may receive an electric shock,
Keep the mains plug disconnected from the AC outlet if
you do not intend to use the system for a prolonged
period of time.
If water is spilt on the system or the system is splashed
with water, stop operation immediately and contact with
your dealer. Also, breakdowns and failures may occur if
the system is used in a location exposed to a great deal
of dust.
Do not leave the system in a location where it will be
exposed to direct sunlight, a heater or high tempera-
tures.
The system's speakers use powerful magnets. Do not
place timepieces, credit cards or other magnetic cards,
cassetle tapes, video tapes or other magnetic tapes
near the speakers.
In case of moving or transportation, be sure to remove
disc and turn the unit off after "CD/CDV/LD"
on the
screen is changed from blinking to lighting.
Do not damage the mains lead, A damaged or broken
mains lead or improper plug contact may result in fire or
electric shocks.
Under no circumstances should the inside of the system
be touched since this may result in electric shocks and
breakdowns.
It is dangerous for the laser beam used in the laser disc
player section to be directed toward your eyes. Do not
attempt to disassemble the system since this may ex-
pose your eyes to the laser beam.
Sudden changes in the ambient temperature may cause
condensation- to form on the optical lens ins;de the
system. If this happens, take out the disc, leave the
system with the disc tray extended for about 1 hour, and
then proceed to operate.
