Paper feed mechanism

• When the tray1 paper pick-up solenoid is energized, drive from the main motor is trans-
mitted to the pick-up roller via the paper pick-up clutch. The pick-up roller is thereby
rotated.
• At the same time, the lift cam is rotated, which raises the paper lift plate. This allows the
paper to be taken up and fed in by the pick-up roller.
