5. Insert crank handle (1) into the starting handle support
bearing and slowly turn the crankshaft clockwise until the end
of the compression stroke or
until the O.T. marking (2) on the flywheel corresponds to the
crankcase marking (3).
In this position both valves (inlet and exhaust valves) are
closed (max. clearance between rocker arm and valve stem).
Exhaust valve adjusting:
6. Slide a feeler gauge (5) with thickness 0.1 mm between
rocker arm (4) and the exhaust valve stem and check the
valve clearance of the exhaust valve.
The feeler gauge must be able to be pulled through between
the valve and the rocker arm without noticeable resistance
(drag).
