The engine type code is a 12-digit code in addition to the serial
number e.g. 15B 430.0118 D5
Trim No. = speed governor version
Type No. = engine version
Start 0 = crank handle
5 = electric start
6 = alternator without starter
7 = alternator with starter
Bearings 3 = roller bearing on the flywheel side
Crankshaft 4 = horizontal position
Basic engine design
A = vertical cylinder, anticlockwise rotation (old version)
B = vertical cylinder, clockwise rotation (new version)
