    GalaxyNASLX2 detects a problem with heat or power Power supplies and fans are redundant and will not shut down the GalaxyNASLX2 if one fails. Follow the replacement procedures in the Maintenance section to replace the power supply or fan.

    4.1.2 Raid Indicators and alarms The GalaxyNASLX2 built in SATA / SAS RAID drives have front facing green or blue drive LEDs indicating the drive is online and in use. If a drive fails, its LED indicator turns red and an alarm sounds.

    4.2.0 GalaxyNASLX2 OS The GalaxyNASLX2 OS has an active alert and error log, SNMP alerts, as well as a visual notification when errors are detected. A simple red colored exclamation point on the GalaxyNASLX2 GUI ‘!’ indicates there is an error in the log.
  • Page 86 This problem arises when you installed GalaxyNASLX2 into the secondary IDE slot by mistake. GalaxyNASLX2 is configured for and will only run in the primary IDE connector. Shut down the computer, remove GalaxyNASLX2 from secondary and place it into primary. That solves the problem.
