In case engine starts in gear, do not start
cruising. Stop engine immediately and con-
sult an authorized dealer.

The engine will not start unless the switch
lock has been properly connected into the
emergency stop switch.

Do not operate the engine with gear case
out of water.
Severe personal injury, or engine damage
will result.

CAUTION
Never fill up portable fuel tanks on board to
avoid fire or explosion resulting from
spilled gasoline. If gasoline is ever spilled
on board, wipe it up thoroughly. Fuel tanks
must always be filled up on land.

Preparations
Except for USA and Canada
model (regular tank)
1. Full open the air vent screw on the tank
cap.

approved tank)
1. Full open the air vent screw on the tank
cap and turn the tank cap until it con-
tacts the tab lock. Close the tank cap
after completely releasing pressure.

2. For the 30, 40 and 50 models, insert
the fuel connector into the connector in
the engine side.
