HME HS16 Operating Instructions

The HS16 noise-cancelling headset is designed
for use with your HME audio system.
Follow these instructions for proper use and
care of the HS16 Headset.

Adjusting the headset band

Slide the adjustable metal headset band in and out of its plastic sleeve to adjust the head size of
the HS16 for its best fit.

Wearing the headset

•
Put the headset on your head with the earpiece over either ear.
•
Bend the flexible microphone boom to position the microphone
approximately 1 inch (25 mm) from your mouth, with the white
line near the microphone facing your mouth. The foam
windscreen covering the microphone helps to reduce noise
to improve sound quality when you are speaking into the
microphone. Do not remove it.
•
Clip the two clothing clips to the back of your shirt to keep the
cord from getting in your way.
•
Plug the connector at the end of the headset cable into your
belt-pac Communicator.
